Fundació BIT (Balearic Islands Foundation of Innovation and Technologies) is a non-profit organization of the Balearic Islands Government which aims to implement RDI strategies through the promotion of new technologies and technology-based entrepreneurship.

The main objectives of the Foundation BIT are:- Provide access to information technology and communications to companies and public administrations through the development of technological applications and infrastructure.

- Create a business environment propitious to innovation.

- Incubate innovative technology companies and encourage entrepreneurship.- Support the digitalization of services provided by public administrations and businesses and its effective and efficient use.
